Kurt Angle returned on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, qualifying for the WWE World Cup Tournament at Crown Jewel on November 2nd.
The former Raw GM took part in a battle royal put together by Baron Corbin, who had set the match up to give himself an easy in for the World Cup.
However, under the mask of the Conquistador was the Olympic Gold Medalist, who quickly dispatched of Corbin at the end of the bout.
Angle is set to appear on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to PWInsider, there are plans for a Team Angle vs Team Corbin elimination match at Survivor Series in November.
So it looks like Angle’s feud with the Lone Wolf will at least extend to Survivor Series, if not later into the year.
