Poor attendance at this week’s SmackDown Live

While officials can take a deep breath as SmackDown’s viewership was up 25% from last week’s episode and it drew 2.597 million viewers they may now have to worry about the live audience for the show.

A fan who was in attendance for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live posted the following photos from his Twitter handle in which the seats from the hard camera side are seen mostly empty:

This is a concerning matter for WWE Official as this poor attendance came despite the fact that the show featured stars such as AJ Styles, Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Not only that but this week’s SmackDown was also the follow-up episode for Money In The Bank and featured the return of SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan.

Hopefully, things will get better in the upcoming weeks as next week’s episode is packed with a number of exciting matches and after that, we’ll get to see the return of the now ‘Free Agent’ John Cena.
