While the Hell In A Cell match between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon this past Sunday night was crazy enough, it appears it wasn’t the end of their rivalry.
We previously reported that WWE had plans for a Team Owens vs Team Shane match for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV and it looks like those plans are still on.
As seen this Sunday, Sami Zayn helped out Kevin Owens to win his match and during the post PPV episode of Talking Smack, AJ Styles said that he is ready to fight for Shane.
After this, Bryan Alvarez indicated that those plans are still in place during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, so it’s likely that we’ll see this match at the upcoming PPV.
It’s worth noting here that Brock Lesnar vs Finn Balor for the Universal Championship is also rumored for the event so if the team Shane vs Team Owens match takes places, it will be a co-main event for the show.
