Championship match, possible main event announced for Extreme Rules

WWE announced a couple of matches for the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, including the possible main event for the show.

During the Money In The Bank PPV Sunday night, we saw Ms. Money In The Bank Alexa Bliss cashing in her contract and winning the Raw Women’s Championship from Nia Jax.

After this on the opening segment of the show, Kurt Angle announced that Jax has opted to use her rematch clause and she will be facing Bliss for the title at the upcoming PPV.

Later in the show, Angle revealed that the company has decided when Brock Lesnar will defend his Universal Championship next after his title defense at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

While the date for his title defense was not revealed, it appears to be the SummerSlam PPV. As far as his opponent goes, Kurt announced that it will be decided via a multi-man match at Extreme Rules.

It wasn’t revealed how many men will actually be a part of the bout but both Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley were later announced as the participants of this match which appears to be the main event of the upcoming PPV.
