Possible reason why Daniel Bryan has been absent from WWE television

Daniel Bryan lost the WWE Title to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35 and since then he hasn’t appeared on television.

Fans were worried about this because he had to retire for two years due to concussion issues. He made his return to the ring before Wrestlemania last year, so it has only been a year into his latest run.

Brad Shepard discussed Daniel Bryan’s current WWE status during Oh, You Didn’t Know. While he didn’t give many details regarding Bryan’s injury, he did end rumors that suggested there was something wrong with Bryan’s head.

“So you may have heard the report that Daniel Bryan has an injury. He hasn’t been on TV. This situation is intentionally being kept very quiet at a specific person’s request and unfortunately, I can’t go into any further detail except to say that he’s injured. It’s not his head. It’s not overly serious, but it is bad enough for him to take some time off.”

While Bryan’s injury status is still very real, it is fortunate that it isn’t his head. Daniel Bryan reinvented himself as The Planet’s Champion after beating AJ Styles for the WWE Championship last year.

We hope he recovers from the injury and makes his return to the ring as soon as possible.
