Possible returns for Superstar Shakeup tonight

The Superstar Shakeup begins tonight, and both the Raw and Smackdown Live rosters are backstage in Hartford, Connecticut tonight, along with some 205 Live and NXT talent. Two specific talents have been spotted backstage, and there’s a chance we may see them tonight.

Big Cass has been out of action since August. Cass sustained a torn ACL during a street fight with Enzo Amore, forcing him to miss seven months of action, so far. However, the 7-footer has been spotted backstage, so it’s possible he could make his return tonight.

Another star spotted backstage is former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre. The Sinister Scotsman has been working on his return since tearing his biceps back at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. While McIntyre stated on the TakeOver pre-show that he had plans to take on Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas again, he was rumored to get the call-up to the main roster since late 2017 before sustaining his injury.

Both men could look to fill a few empty spots that might be made courtesy of the Superstar Shakeup. While Monday Night Raw is full of giants and monsters, there’s a chance some of those men could be making their way to Tuesday nights.
