Possible spoiler for the Champion vs. Champion match at Survivor Series

It’s safe to say that the complexion for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV has changed completely in the past couple of weeks and one of the biggest changes was AJ Styles winning the WWE Championship which means that he’ll now be facing Brock Lesnar at the PPV this Sunday.

Though this leaves Jinder Mahal in an odd position as the Morden Day Maharaja who was expected to be part of the main ev the nt of show is now not even featured on the card for the PPV.

His position was discussed by Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter and the Wrestling Journalist speculates that he could still be used at the event.

Meltzer speculates that Mahal could end up interfering in the Champion vs. Champion match between AJ and Brock, causing Styles to lose the match.

This makes sense since it would allow WWE to save the new Champion from losing cleanly to Lesnar and the Beast could still win the bout and continue his path to WrestleMania as a strong opponent for Roman Reigns.

Although this is not a confirmed plan at this moment and we’ll have to wait and see if the former WWE Champion is actually used at the show or not
