The no disqualification match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura ended in no contest, however, on SmackDown this week Shinsuke made it clear that he and Styles are not finished just yet.
Since then, people have been wondering if their next imminent encounter will also feature some sort of stipulation and now Wrestling Observer might have shed some light on it.
According to it, there has been talk of doing a Last Man Standing Match between the Champion and the challenger after their bout at Backlash.
It would make sense for these two to meet in a Last Man Standing match as it would increase the chances of a decisive winner, and it could also be the end of their rivalry.
No word yet on when these two will compete again, but considering the absence of Brock Lesnar, Money In The Bank appears to be the most likely destination.
