According to a report from F4WOnline, the WWE’s plans for current WWE Champ John Cena is “not necessarily good news” and probably “wouldn’t be celebrated” by fans.
Rumors now suggest that Cena and real-life girlfriend Nikki Bella could be working together in a mixed Tag Team match against The Miz and Maryse at Wrestlemania. Samoa Joe vs. John Cena was also considered at one point, thus having to move Joe to the blue brand, but that was quickly scrapped off the table. Given the injury to Seth Rollins, plans to have Triple H vs. Rollins at Mania are now up in the air.
Rollins was expected to feud with Joe through Fastlane before taking on ‘The Game’ in Orlando. If Cena and Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse is in fact what is next, we could begin seeing the build-up to that as early as now (in the build up to Fastlane).
