Prelim Bout Between Maciej Jewtuszko vs. Curt Warburton Official For UFC 127

UFC executives officially announced that Polish former WEC fighter Maciej Jewtuszko will face off against British fighter Curt Warburton at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia on February 27th at “UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch” which is set to air live on pay-per-view.

Jewtuszko made his start in Europe as a mixed martial arts fighter with a record of 8-0, and was signed earlier this year by the WEC where the WEC import only needed 95 seconds in his debut fight for a TKO finish over Anthony Njokuani at WEC 50 this past August where he earned “KO of the Night”.

With an impressive record to date, five of his eight fights have finished in the opening round, Jewtuszko is trying to keep his winning streak going over in the UFC now that WEC has merged with the top mixed martial arts promotion.

Curt Warbuton made his octagon debut back in October at UFC 120 in London, England where he recieved a decision loss to veteran fighter Spencer Fisher. The british Team Wolfslair fighter holds a record of 6-2,

UFC 127 is definitely looking to be a card of top contenders as more fights are announced, as well as the welterweight division bout between former champion BJ Penn and longtime title contender Jon Fitch as the main event of the evening.
