Some of you seem to not understand the difference between critical acclaim and popular acclaim.

WWE has the popular acclaim because of it’s long term history
TNA at the moment as the critical acclaim

Avatar did not have that much critical acclaim at all. It got a rating of 5.4 out of 10 on rotten tomatoes for the love of mike.
Compare that to the Dark Knight which got 9 out of 10 on the same rating board really shows the difference between just having one of those two acclaims and having both, the Dark Knight being the latter in this case.

BTW my e-mail was posted and is on this page but I have yet to get fuck all from that poster.

  • adam

And your wrong about the avatar thing. Because you know why they made all that money because alot of people went to see it around the world. You know what happense when alot of people watch something you get high ratings.

  • adam

If ratings dont prove the quality of the show what does. I figured that would be the one thing that does determine what show is better. I wish a wwe employee had enough time to come on to this site but most of them are to busy going out and getting people like the kings of wrestling tyler black xavier woods Britny Knight and Shaul Guerrero. But have fun with Gunner and your eventual Knockout champion Eric young.

  • Jon

Show me where you see TNA voted best show because I don’t see it on pwi, wiki, or any.

  • Jason

E-mails are not allowed to be posted on this site. That would explain why I can’t post any form of E-mail on this site with it staying on. That sucks

  • Jason

Ratings do not measure in the quality of a show. If it did films like Avatar would not make 2 billion dollars worldwide. TNA was ranked based on its overall quality not brand awareness like the WWE goes for every year. The WWE does not care about what the critics or award systems thinks, they just care about the bottom line.

Chris Nolan said it best, (when a product is more about money then quality the end is near)

I did post my e-mail and guess what he never sent me shit. I will post it again below

  • Jon

And Sting won the come back award but most of the honors went to WWE.BTW why haven’t have you respond to Findley claims. If you really work for them prove it.

  • Jon

Funny because there is no show of the year and if there was it Raw would beat Impact any day. Proof in the ratings. Plus the only awards TNA won was tag team and women. You said Gunner was newcomer of the year newsflash it was Ace Hawkins that won it. Other than that there was no metion of TNA. And your false claims has brought this on topic.

  • Jason

What ever, nothing was proved and I never got one e-mail from that dude. Will you really? Please do it so I can laugh at you when they say I posted right.

TNA did win the show of the year award for PWI

WWE Raw was voted the worst wrestling show of the year by PWI

The only three things WWE got in PWI that mattered was

    Wrestler of the year
    Match of the year
    PPV of the year

Now try and stay on topic

  • Jon

Jason give the act up. We all know you don’t work for TNA and your in big trouble too for it. Im ready to email PWI on you for falsely putting information that not true either. We all know WWE had a great year on PWI list. With the best wrestler CM Punk to match of the year MITB Punk vs Cena for the WWE Championship.

You sir have no knowledge about what going on and I want proof to back your claims.

  • Jason

The bottom line is you guys choose not to watch TNA or even give it a chance because you all have hard on’s for the WWE product which btw was ranked via Raw the worst wrestling show of 2011 by PWI while Impact was voted best by PWI. Suck on that

  • Jason

Okay Garrett Bischoff is a rookie that gets maybe 5 mins of air time on avg per week. So I guess you would rather see Cena, Ryder or any other lame ass character taking up 20 to 30 mins of tv time per week with WWE huh? You still watch that shit but because TNA uses just 5 mins to try and get a young wrestler over you pull the old double standard bullshit of watching WWE but not giving TNA a chance.

Gunner was in WWE, he was even on smackdown for a while with Chris Benoit. Gunner was ranked best new comer of the year by PWI.

The X division is getting alot of TV time right now, in some cases up to three segments and one match a show.

I agree with you about the tag team division but at least TNA has five teams at the moment vs. WWE’s three.

And to the other guy, not all wrestlers stop wrestling when they get into there 30’s. That is just a WWE bullshit hire line that WWE marks use. Guess what Batista was 35 when he was just getting his first push with WWE via in 2002. And he went on to become one of the biggest draws of all time. The same with Stone Cold and Hulk Hogan.

  • adam

Jason hate to rain on your parade but none of them except aries are young up and coming stars. There all in there mid to early thirties which in the wrestling buisness usally means they will only be around for another year or so until the buisness catches up to them which is a shame. As for you saying oh try to watch it blah blah blah. I have tried watchint it and its not because im a huge wwe fan because i get sick of there crap too. Its because they try shoving garrett bichoff and gunner down our throats. And gunner isnt nearly as talented as you think he is. If he was in wwe he would still be down in FCW. As for the show i stoped watching because they complelty destroyed the only reasons for watching the X-division and tag team division.

  • Jason

Okay so how do you get from watching the shows that any old talent is being pushed over any new talent at the moment?

Is Kurt Angle going over Storm? No
Is Sting going over Roode? No
Is RVD going over Aries? No
Is Joe and Magnus not the TNA Tag Team Champions? Yes

All of the young and future stars are being pushed and pushed right. So again where do you get off making such a comment without a true reason or merit?

Just asking because I feel that this is what is hurting TNA the most, the idea that what TNA did a few years ago is still going on now. Which of course is so not true..

  • SpudimusPrime89

I base my thoughts on what I’ve seen from the show and on the show spoilers.

  • Jason

wtf all of the champs in TNA are tna guys not wcw or wwe guys.

Hogan is on like once every two months and its to help a young wrestler.

Sting is the gm getting ready to put over the TNA champ Bobby Roode.

Kurt Angle is putting over James Storm right and left

Gunner is a good worker and is a TNA guy not a WWE or WCW guy.

Do you even watch the show or do you just base your thoughts on what others say on this retarded site?

  • SpudimusPrime89

Also, I like how I got a thumbs down for saying that everyone has a preference.

  • SpudimusPrime89

No, the reason people are getting turned off of TNA is it’s becoming WCW 2.0. TNA has plenty of talented wrestlers that are getting overshadowed by stars like Hogan, Sting, Angle (who I still like, personally), and Gunner.

  • Jason

LOL Raw as of now has had 13 mins of wrestling with the main event still to come. You guys can’t say fuck all about TNA in the wrestling department.

  • Jason

Yeah it’s called it’s not WWE. If TNA had the WWE logo you marks would be eating it up. And yes, a true fan watching all wrestling not just one or two brands. In most cases most of you marks just watch WWE which makes you guys brand marks and not wrestling marks.

  • SpudimusPrime89

Just because someone doesn’t watch every wrestling promotion doesn’t mean they’re not a “true wrestling fan.” It just means they have a preference. There’s a reason people have gotten turned off of TNA over the past few years.

  • Jason

True wrestling fans watch all wrestling at the same time like I do to absorb all of the matches and events in a single sitting, why won’t you people realise that is what makes a true fan. Venom needs to get some skills before he start talking shit to true fans like myself. TNA TNA TNA

  • Jason

That right there Nick is why you are not a real wrestling fan. A true wrestling fan watches all pro wrestling not just one or two brands. This site is crawling with WWE bolts.

Don’t want to watch TNA? Fine, but don’t talk shit about a product you don’t even watch.

As JR has said, talking about something you don’t know anything about is not sound thinking or actions.

  • Nicholas

@Jason maybe Vemon don’t watch to show because he is like me don’t care what happens in Tna. An to me a wrestling fan or a fan of any kind not caring can’t get much worst then that.

  • Jason

Venom perhaps you should try watching the show instead of talking shit about it. Just an idea

Have fun with Raw that only has 15 mins of wrestling in a two hour show per week. WWE best wrestling product my ass…

  • Jason

Looks nice but to be fair this preview does not give the show much justice. That X match went nearly longer then the entire WWE Raw side of wrestling last week. No joke, 12 mins.
