Randy Orton Injury Update Following Money In The Bank Match

Following his switches after the main-event of Money in the Bank, and physician Dr. Chris Amann posted the following update on Randy Orton:

“We had an incident during the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match where Randy was struck in the head with the ladder, which caused a laceration to the top of his scalp. I evaluated him immediately after the incident. He did not show any signs of a concussion, so what we did ringside was to stop the bleeding with a mixture of Vaseline and epinephrine – which is also known as adrenaline. By putting that in the wound and by applying direct pressure, we were able to get the bleeding to stop, so he could finish the match.”

“Immediately after the match, we brought him back to the training room where we thoroughly cleaned the wound and put 11 staples in his head. We are going to monitor him for any signs of neurological changes and we’ll follow up with him tomorrow at Raw in Hartford, Conn.”

It did for a while, he left out the part where orton and reigns were fighting on the ladder (you can see the cut and some blood marks on his head) and either reigns hit ortons head into the ladder or when he was grabbing at the top of ortons head it opened it up again and it started to flow pretty good from there on out.

Hate seeing someone get injured hopefully no concussion….but I will say it was nice to see some blood in the wwe again.. if just for the reality occasionally its makes sense you have guys “fighting” for “championships” every once ina while throw something in there to make it seem more real but alas its the pg era
