Randy Orton Not Comfortable With Acting, Big Show Crys On Set Of Knucklehead, more

– WWE Studios was featured in a blog by the L.A. Times this past weekend, with three wrestlers commenting on their involvement. Randy Orton conceded that wrestling hasn’t prepared him for acting in the way he hoped it would, saying, “I can’t say I’m confident in my abilities as an actor. I thought doing this for 10 years would give me an edge, but it hasn’t… In the ring you want every one of the 80,000 people in the building to know what you’re feeling. “On a movie set every expression you make is going to get picked up times 10. They kept having to dial me back.”

Edge commented on the perception of pro wrestlers, saying their intelligence is underestimated. “One of the misconceptions when people meet wrestlers is that they think it’s all big hair and underwear and rah-rah,” Edge said. “I don’t think that anyone believes we might read a book every two days, which I try to do,” said Edge, a thoughtful Canadian with a gentle manner. “They don’t think that we might possibly be intelligent.”

Big Show, recently involved in the movie “Knucklehead” admitted to breaking down and crying on the set of the movie. “I remember coming back to the bus one day after shooting and just chilling, and then all of a sudden I start crying,” Show said. “And I’m not a man who cries easily. I thought something was wrong. I called Mark (Feuerstein) and he came right over and told me that I’d had a breakthrough.”
