Randy Orton Passes HBK on WWE Champion List, WWE Creative Team Update and More

– The only WWE creative writer to be cut in the round of releases last week was Christopher DeJoseph. Writer John Piermini left the team a few weeks ago on his own and Dan Matalaga was let go several weeks earlier.

 


 

– WWE’s website saw 14.3 million visitors in October, their best month in a while. Their shop website processed 774 orders per day in the same month, down from 871 orders per day in in October of 2009.

– Shawn Michaels has signed a deal where he becomes the latest celebrity to endorse the Chuck Norris Total Gym.

– Now that Randy Orton’s most recent WWE Title run has ended, he is now at #10 on the list of most days spent as WWE Champion, passing Shawn Michaels with 420 days. #9 would be Randy Savage with 529 days, Steve Austin is at #8 with 529 days, Triple H is at #7 with 539 days, #6 sees Bret Hart with 654 days, John Cena is at #5 with 947 days and Pedro Morales ranks #4 with 1,027 days.

The top three spots are Bruno Sammartino at #3 with 4,040 days, Hulk Hogan at #2 with 2,184 days and Bob Backlund at the top with 2,138 days as WWE Champion.
