Randy Orton’s 60-day suspension for his second violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program has ended—suspended effective May 30. He returns imminently as he is scheduled for Monday’s Raw in Cincinnati, Ohio and Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Indianapolis, Indiana.

According to F4WOnline.com, his suspension stemmed from a positive drug test for elevated levels of testosterone. He reportedly told people that he took a tainted supplement containing the testosterone, causing him to fail, and acknowledged that he should have been more careful. WWE chief Vince McMahon was said to have been livid with Orton over the matter, particularly since he was so “outspokenly indifferent.”

Orton’s suspension caused a ripple effect on SmackDown as John Cena, Triple H, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were shifted to several shows this summer to alleviate the brand’s lack of star power. Punk and Bryan will resume their feud at Raw live events beginning this weekend while Cena will cease making special appearances following SmackDown broadcasts in three weeks. Triple H will continue to make special appearances on SmackDown until further notice.

Haven’t missed him in the 60 days. He should never be a face because he can’t/won’t. They turned him face too early anyways.

  • KingAlbert

Randy will get the WHC from Sheamus now. you wait.

  • Jon

Kind wish like stuff like wellness suspended WWE would do like TNA did. The Jeff Hardy storyline was done really good and I belive that help Jeff kick the habit. Maybe WWE should do the same thing with Randy, make everyone turn on him, no theme music comming out, etc,etc til he really learns.

  • Jon-Jon

It is easier being a heel. It’s easy to go out there and say “(insert city here) is a complete dump! The (insert sports team here) has a lot in common with my opponent tonight. Neither can win the big one!”

  • Tyler(:

The word job is used way too much around here, I bet only half of the guys that use it know what it actually means.

  • Stu

There gonna push him as a face because its what they want him to be. Orton wants to be a heel, honestly I think it’s because heel is so much easier then face.

  • Angry Benny

Even better he wasn’t on tv for the 1000th episode, so thats gotta sting and it was in his hometown, double sting, now he could come back, suck it up, then turn heel, then suck it up again, if anything turn Cena heel, that would be laughable and a smack in the face to all those little jimmies

Orton needs to pay his penance. He has served his drugs suspension, but he will pay an additional price for his attitude towards his suspension. So I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he is booked to put a few people over before his inevitable push.
The heel turn can be brought about as a result of his being on a losing run.

Why does Orton have to job to Ziggler? Have Mysterio or Jericho job to Ziggler and turn Orton heel.

  • xXx

    ^shocking future indeed

  • rko

I’d rather job Randy to Drew Mac. Future Shock!

  • Jimbotron

First assignment: job to Dolph Ziggler to build him up.
