RAW Rating for This Week, Article on Linda McMahon Not Voting in Recent Elections

– Last night’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW did a 3.4 cable rating on the USA Network. The show did hours of 3.29 and 3.60 and was up against stiff competition with ESPN Monday Night Football as this week’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins did an 11.0 cable rating.

– The Associated Press wrote the following article after Linda McMahon admitted on her blog she didn’t vote in several elections including the 2008 presidential election.

HARTFORD, Conn. — Linda McMahon’s wrestling empire urged young adults to vote in 2008, but the former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO didn’t always follow suit.

McMahon is seeking the Republican nomination in Connecticut for the U.S. Senate. She acknowledges on her blog that she didn’t vote in the 2008 presidential primary after Sen. John McCain was the presumptive nominee.

She also missed a general election in 2006 and several local elections.

She says she’s not making excuses and is owning up to her mistakes.

McMahon isn’t the only candidate in the race with a spotty voting record.

Money manager Peter Schiff didn’t register to vote when he moved back Connecticut in 2004. He’s now registered in Weston.
