We noted before how Samoa Joe missed Raw this week because he reportedly suffered an injury, however another star who missed the show was Braun Strowman.
Strowman’s absence led to many rumors about his health and status, though now Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed the real reason why the star was absent from WWE Programming this week.
According to the Newsletter, WWE wants to save the physicality between Brock Lesnar and Strowman for No Mercy PPV, however after their confrontation last week, Officials believe it’s hard to put both the stars on the same show without a confrontation.
So since Brock was scheduled to appear on Raw this week, they decided to keep Strowman away from TV as the belief is that putting him elsewhere on the card didn’t make sense.
Word is that Strowman will be back on TV next week because Lesnar will not be appearing on the show. Although both Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar are scheduled for the September 11th episode of Raw and it’s interesting to see how the company handles it.
