Dolph Ziggler has been absent from WWE Programming recently and there are lots of rumours being heard about the reason behind his absence from TV.
He last appeared on WWE TV during the July 4rth episode of SmackDown Live where he took part in the Independence Day Battle Royal and many even wonder if WWE is punishing him for some reason.
When asked about Dolph’s status on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer killed all these rumours off and cleared the air about his situation.
According to Meltzer neither WWE is punishing the former World Champion for any reason nor there is any grudge between him and the company which is keeping him off the television.
Instead, the reason why he hasn’t been a part of weekly WWE shows lately is simply because the Officials don’t have anything planned for the Show Off at the moment.
Furthermore, it was revealed that he has been working on WWE Live Events regularly like several other Superstars who have no active storyline either and hence they are not appearing on Television.
