- It was estimated that around 12,000 fans were in attendance for WWE’s Battleground pay-per-view at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York last night.
– Regarding the power outage before the main event, WWE’s video wall and set lights went out but the arena lights stayed on. One fan noted that Brad Maddox came out to inform fans of a power outage but Justin Roberts also made an announcement.
– WWE did the low blow finish to the CM Punk vs. Ryback match at Battleground because there was a feeling that neither man needed to lose the match.
