Reason For WWE Pulling Mysterio From Upcoming Events, ‘Small’ Wrestler Joins NXT

– Rey Mysterio was not at Monday’s RAW from Greensboro, NC and has been pulled from WWE live events for the next couple of weeks. A WWE spokesperson told Raj Giri of WrestlingINC.com that Mysterio is taking a short break to attend to some personal matters.

Mysterio competed at SmackDown live events this past weekend, teaming with The Usos to defeat 3MB. While no official date was given for his return, he remains advertised for SmackDown live events at the end of the month.

– The official website of WWE developmental promotion NXT has added French wrestler Sylvester Lefort to its roster page.

Billed at 5’9″ and 170 pounds, he is the smallest male wrestler in developmental. His bio acknowledges this, stating, “He prides himself on being a main attraction everywhere he competes and even though small in stature, his intensity and aggressive nature makes him a threat to any giant in NXT.”

Lefort lives by the motto: “I am not a big guy – but I will do some big things.”

– Big Boss Man is featured in today’s “Superstar Spotlight” on WWE.com.
