WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter Tuesday night (March 8th, 2016) to talk to Jonathan Coachman about WWE.
There was a highlight reel of the top five moments of Monday’s episode of RAW and Michaels’ top WrestleMania moments.
When asked about how he prepared for WrestleMania, Michaels explained that the show is WWE’s Superbowl and that he would put on his best performance at the show, and that was the best way to make an impact with the fans. Michaels then praised Ric Flair.
Michaels was asked about retiring at WrestleMania 26 in a match with The Undertaker. He said that he retired to have more time with his family. He said that time had gone by fast and about a year before he retired; he was thinking about. Michaels explained that walking away from WWE was a huge step, but not a hard decision because he did it for his family.
Michaels thanked ESPN for having him on the show, and this wrapped up the segment.
