According to a report from KAIT 8, WWE Champion AJ Styles was robbed during last Monday’s (January 16, 2017) WWE Live Event from Jonesboro, Arkansas at the Convocation Center.

Styles was reportedly robbed of an iPhone, small screen TV, Xbox 360, six Xbox 360 games, a pair of Beats, $1,000 U.S. and $7,000 in Japanese yen. The case is still under investigation and request for more information regarding the incident is being denied by the Arkansas State University police.

This was my point it was still $7000 I think whoever wrote the article should have been clear either way……My Friend.

  • D2K

The article clearly distinguishes him having $1000 US dollars and $7000 Japanese Yen. It does not say anywhere that he had $800,000 in Japanese Yen which would be $7,000 US dollars. Nor did it say that he lose a total of $8,000 US dollars with included $1,000 USD and $800,000 Japanese Yen that transfers into $7,000 USD. It said he had $7,000 in Japanese Yen. No more, no less. Of course the writer of the article could have gotten the details wrong, but there is NOTHING said here to suggest anything other than what I said.

its $7000 usd in yen, not 7000 yen in USD. so he had about 800k in yen stored away.

  • D2K

It’s more likely that it’s money he forgot about.

  • D2K

Use a Yen to Dollar translator “my friend.” Based on the current exchange rate 7000 in yen transfers to 61.07 US dollars. The Yen does not work the same way as the US Dollar. It would take 800,000 Yen to get 7,000 US Dollars.

I guess whoever wrote, and then whoever copy/pasted this couldn’t be bothered finding the ¥ symbol.

  • Jason Conlan

    How can $7000 in Yen be $60? That’s $7000 my friend…..

  • Shawn OB

    Lol Orton.

  • ROB-1.

All he needs now is to be robbed of his WWE title.

  • Solid

I meant more like why he was carrying it on him in Arkansas, just weird is all, unless he never clears out his wallet.

  • D2K

    That’s only like $60 bucks.

  • Solid

Or that he had $7000 in Yen.

  • D2K

Exactly. There are some games that even though you paid for digital copies are no longer available to download from XBLA. You have to search your download history to find them. I juts miss playing my Fight Night Round 4 and Fight Night Champion since EA doesn’t want to bring out another.

Man no joke. I gave my 360 to my friends kid and saw all the games I could no longer play the next day. I almost had to ruin his birthday lol

  • Killswitch

Not really. The Xbox One isn’t 100% backwards compatible. I had a bit of buyer’s regret when I took part in the Best Buy exchange program and got $130+ for my old 360 towards the One, since I could no longer play Skyrim.

  • Doctorl21

The thing that bothers me the most is he has an Xbox 360 still.
