– At yesterday’s Axxess session, an Atlanta radio show employee took his WWE fandom too far as he had Superstars shave sections of his hair and then autograph the bald spots.
– Devin sent the following: WWE returns to the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on August 20th, 2011 at 7:30 PM and the Medicine Hat Arena in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada on August 21st, 2011 at 5 PM.
– Around 200 to 250 people were at The Punchline comedy club in Atlanta the other night to see Roddy Piper’s comedy show. Piper told stories about people like Ric Flair and Andre the Giant, and was said to be very entertaining. Piper’s MMA fighter son Colt and WWE Legend Sgt. Slaughter joined him on stage. Piper hung around after the show to meet fans and sign autographs.
ECW Original New Jack’s show was up next and due to a small number of ticket sales, people that attended Piper’s show were asked to stick around for New Jack’s. It was estimated that around 40 to 60 people stayed. New Jack and his girlfriend, former WWE Diva Terri Runnels, charged fans for autographs and photos after his show.
– Snooki has been telling people in Atlanta this weekend that she would accept a contract from WWE on the spot if she was offered one. She told Pop Crunch this week: “I am committed to my ‘Jersey Shore’ family, but obviously that’s not going to last forever. If I am given an opportunity to become a full-time Diva, then I would say yes.”
