Report: TNA Expected to File for Bankruptcy

According to a report from F4WOnline, during yesterday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio Dave Meltzer reported that TNA is likely to file for bankruptcy in order to absolve their debt. It is not yet known what would happen next, however, the main creditors would be Billy Corgan, Aroluxe and The Fight Network:

They’re probably gonna end up filing for bankruptcy. Then what happens I don’t know. But if they file for bankruptcy, the big creditors seem to be The Fight Network and Billy [Corgan] and Aroluxe. So as far as who gets what… I think the idea is if they file for the bankruptcy they absolve the debt.

But Dixie… the whole thing is, Dixie is still trying to figure out a way – this is why it hasn’t been sold – to, I don’t know if it’s to stay in control but the whole thing is, she doesn’t want to look bad publicly.

We’ll keep you updated as we learn more……

During the mid 2000s it was pretty good actually. Then Dixie Carter stepped in……….

    THE END

From what I hear Panda Energy is not exactly anyone’s sweetheart themselves.

I am one of TNA’s biggest detractors, and have been for years (I remember being on a message board calling them WWE lite, and constantly being shut down. Then a few months later the same people who were shutting me down ended up saying “man, you totally called it”), but their early days under the Jarretts was a great era. Not so much the heavyweight title scene as that was just Jeff stroking his own ego, but the rest of the card, especially the X Division. It all started going downhill when Dicks-E Normous took over.

So creditors get the video library, the only asset the company has?

If they would have taken her out of control after they lost their “war” with Raw, the company may still be afloat. Instead it’s been at a snails pace sinking to the bottom. Pretty pathetic how it’s all coming to an end. She should just take it like a professional and admit that’s it’s over. It’s making her look even worse doing and going through all this bs that keeps getting out to the public.

It probably goes something like this “mummy, daddy, please bail out my wrestling company that I can’t even run properly, and I wanna stay in control, thanks mummy and daddy”

Until Panda Energy stopped bailing out Dixie/TNA, since then its been slowly circling the drain jumping from network to network to stay alive, but that I think has come to an end.

it was always a crap company/promotion anyway

How it feel Cody Rhodes you working for TNA but you might not be getting paid. I know WWE mistreated him heck I will admit it Cody Rhodes deserve better then what he got. But he might not be getting paid that a problem.

Hard to believe a nimrod like her was able to control this company in the first place. It’s been over for quite some time. You can’t deny fate forever.
