As noted, former TNA champions Bobby Roode and Eric Young requested and were granted their release from their TNA contracts. The two stars are now free agents.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has had contact with both men through an intermediary. WWE is said to be more interested in Young as they feel he can play any character that they need him to play.
Young and Roode will remain on TNA TV for a few more week’s as the promotion has already taped future episodes of Impact Wrestling.
