We noted before how one of the stories regarding Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens said that they were sent home from the ongoing UK Tour after an incident on the tour bus, though now a new report has declined some of the facts which are being circulated around.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com, the reports of them being sent home after the incident are not true as the duo weren’t even on the bus.
Also, the match between Sami Zayn and Kofi Kingston during this week’s episode of SmackDown Live went exactly as planned, though Dave didn’t exactly decline the reports about Owens and Zayn not ‘feeding’ for The New Day after the bout.
While the fact that they were sent home still stands true, Meltzer notes that none of these two are looking to leave WWE and the whole thing has nothing to do with the recent controversies surrounding Neville or Jimmy Jacobs both of which are considered good friends of Sami and Kevin.
When asked if they will be brought back for next week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Dave said that it’s all up to Vince McMahon and claimed that trying to predict his actions are a waste of time since they are often contradictory.
