– Bad news fans – WWE will not be resurrecting the ‘WCW WarGames’ concept for it’s new Battleground pay-per-view in October, despite fan speculation (or hope perhaps). A seating chart released for the event also wouldn’t allow for a two-ring setup which is required to make the concept work.
There was talk about the famous concept being brought back considering the Battleground name alludes to such a concept, and with HHH reportedly being a fan. The feeling however is that it won’t happen, especially since the very next pay-per-view is Hell in a Cell, and two steel cage gimmick match PPV’s in a row is likely to be overkill.
