Mustafa Ali proved himself to be a talented superstar and made the jump to Smackdown Live. He had an unfortunate injury as he suffered a concussion which made him miss out on Elimination Chamber. His return on Smackdown Live this week shows that WWE hasn’t forgotten his push.
Joe Peisich noted on Barnburner’s On The Mat wrestling show that according to a rumor he heard, WWE is planning a special match for Mustafa Ali at Wrestlemania.
“So another thing that I heard what about a match at WrestleMania with Mustafa Ali and the returning Canadian Sami Zayn? I think that would be off the charts.”
Sami Zayn vs Mustafa Ali would definitely be a fantastic match at Wrestlemania if it actually happens. Since both are from the indies and have similar styles, it would be a treat to see the two face off. We will have to wait and see what WWE finally plans for Mustafa Ali.
