After Kurt Angle announced that Braun Strowman will require a partner for his match against the Bar, there have been a lot of speculations on who might tag in with the Monster.
While the obvious partner for him appears to be Elias, if a new report is to be believed we might see a former World Champion returning and teaming up with the Monster Among Men.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that WWE Officials are strongly considering for Rey Mysterio to be Strowman’s partner if he is healthy enough to return in time for WrestleMania.
It’s worth mentioning here that it has been reported that WWE will be keeping Braun’s partner a secret and they will most likely reveal it on the day of the event itself.
No word yet on how the match will play but the site reports that if Mysterio returns for Mania, it will be a short-term deal, meaning they might very well lose the bout.
Though considering the fact that Sports Illustrated also reported that John Cena will be facing Mysterio earlier, we are taking these reports as a rumor only until confirmed otherwise.
