Rey Mysterio has been subject to many rumors ever since he made his WWE return at the Royal Rumble PPV earlier this year and then made another appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
During a recent interview with the Miami Herald, the Master Of 619 provided an update on his ongoing talks with WWE, saying that nothing is secure:
“We started off with the Royal Rumble at the beginning of the year in January. There was another offer on the table to do the Greatest Royal Rumble, and in between those two events, we’ve been going back and forth in conversations, trying to work out the right deal. It’s still up in the air. Nothing [is] secure, yet.”
Apart from this Rey Mysterio also talked about his inclusion in the trailer of the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game saying that he was very happy with the end result.
The last we heard, Rey Mysterio was still talking to WWE and the negotiations had reached to the point where they were talking about Mysterio’s remaining indie commitments but there is still no word yet on when he may finally return to the company for a longer run.
