Ric Flair’s guest, on his podcast Tuesday (8/18), was Bruce Pritchard.
Pritchard, the original manager of The Undertaker, gives the story of why Vince McMahon was not interested in ‘Mean’ Mark Callous (Undertaker’s WCW character).
McMahon originally turned down Callous because he looked like a basketball player.
In addition, when he finally got the opportunity to perform, Undertaker’s performance was very underwhelming to McMahon.
It was only when The Undertaker was able to sit down and talk to McMahon, that the owner of the WWE was convinced of Taker’s potential.
