– Ric Flair told fans during an autograph appearance Thursday at a Walmart in Burlington, North Carolina that he will be “on stage” for WWE’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony WrestleMania weekend (March 31, 2012). Flair, who is under contract to TNA Wrestling, was advertised by WWE this week as one of the Four Horsemen to be inducted at the ceremony.

— Former WWE talent Jacques Rougeau has plans to release his autobiography in English next month. The book was originally released in French last month.

    @CC

    The bashing was in the past; I remember VKM. And, nevertheless, it was never as heated as the Monday Night Wars.

    Before I get to the subject you every think us the wrestling fans on the internet worry a bit to much about the ratings and veiwerships? Remeber when there was a time when you just watch pro wrestling for fun.

    Now onto Ric Flair the man has earn the right to show up to either TNA or WWE. Him going to TNA never bother me because he has never bad month the WWE like some of the other ex WWE guys. The only that gets me is him wrestling in the ring. It is just painful to watch. I understand the guy is broke still don’t know how maybe a lot of ex wife or something. Just wish he would just stay out of the ring.

    Chris Masters, The TRUTH shall set you free! Be afraid be very afraid!
    Can’t wait for naitch to be stylin@ profilin again in WWE, Wooooooooooo.

    @Bawb. You got your facts wrong there buddy. While Dixie doesnt badmouth Vince or WWE, TNA has a history of doing it, even before Hogan and Bisch came on board. What do you think the Voodoo Kin Mafia were other than a way to bash WWE?
    Do you not think the recent, awful, Wrestling matters promos were not a stab at WWE?

    I’m not defending either side here, all I am saying is that while WWE does indeed refuse to acknowledge TNA, TNA goes out of its way to constantly take shots at WWE even though the shots it takes are hypocritical most of the time.

  • D2K

    Oops I meant ECW. Well, hindsight 20/20 I guess he used both companies that way.

  • D2K

    I think Flair showing up at the WWE HOF is a brilliant move on TNA’s part. Vince knows that TNA is not a threat to him and it’s possible that he may use TNA the same way he did WCW and an undercover-farm system for future WWE superstars.

    @Bawb

    Yea, this would help both companies. Because both companie’s ratings just keep going down.

  • Bawb

    I think a TNA star set for a televised WWE event is just awesome. I can’t compare it the WWF/WCW/ECW days where things got complicated (never as controversial as the Mike Awesome-Tazz match) but I think it makes things interesting.

    Come to think of it–I think this could be the start of something awesome for both parties involved if they take advantage of it. TNA will not top WWE in ratings, unless there’s a huge overhaul within TNA and WWE continues to sink. If things continue the way they do for both organizations, why feud when you could make things fun by working together? Not so much all the time, but through some sort of storyline. I think it would get both sides of fans going and rack in past fans. I know it will take some serious negotiations for both side to come to some agreement, but I don’t think there’s too much heat between McMahon and Carter as there was between McMahon and Bischoff back in the day. They don’t seem to bash each other or really acknowledge each other.

    Warrior (Jim Helwig) is simply a douche.
