St. Louis Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis indicated to TheLantern.com that he would consider joining WWE if the ongoing NFL lockout continues, which has lasted more than a month.

“I should take up pro wrestling,” Laurinaitis said. “It’d be a natural transition. I might have to try to get in the ring a little bit, take on John Cena or Randy Orton.”

“I’d consider it,” Laurinaitis added. “You don’t want to mess around and get hurt. But if it’s just a few run-downs here and there or something, I’d maybe at least get some of the training done.”

Laurinaitis is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal and nephew of WWE executive John Laurinaitis.

@Stevie you are wrong buddy. A lockout terminates a players contract and allows them to do whatever they want. Chad Ochocinco is a bench holder for the seatle mls soccer team.

Tell him to join NXT season 6.

  • Stevie

It’s prolly in his contract that he can’t wrestle so this is a non-issue.

    Didn’t know because I’m anti-Ohio State so I wouldn’t watch unless they played a team I liked.

Vince was obsessed with him at one point and told him that if he doesn’t get drafted to NFL, he would be open to join WWE anytime.
Too bad he’s one of the top middle linebackers making millions in NFL now.

Not Thanx — GTFO or in this case STAY-TFO

It has been mentioned numerous times before in his games who his father is & what he does and has done.

Woah when this guy been doing work for Ohio State and the NFL. I had no idea he had big connection like this to the business.
