Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in talks for the film “Dan Minter: Badass for Hire” according to TheWrap.com. The film is being prepped for a 2013 production launch.
“Dan Mintner,” based on the spec script by Chad Kultgen, has been in development since 2008. The film is listed as a comedy that revolves around a character who is described as the ultimate badass and becomes embroiled in a kidnapping drama.
The Rock is also set for New Line’s “Journey 3,” a sequel to this year’s release “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” with Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn writing the script, which shooting is scheduled for next year.
