Tonight’s special 3-hour WWE RAW SuperShow from Boston has been dubbed “RAW Gets Rocked” – and will feature an appearance from The Rock.

The Rock is currently scheduled to wrestle this Sunday at Survivor Series for the first time since WrestleMania XX back in 2004 – but The Rock’s tag team partner this Sunday says The Rock will be wrestling tonight in Boston.

During a radio appearance on Monday morning the Toucher & Rich morning show on Boston’s 98.5 station, John Cena stated that The Rock will be wrestling in the dark match after RAW.

Cena says The Rock will be teaming up with him and Zack Ryder to face World Heavyweight champion Mark Henry, Miz & R-Truth.

WWE has been hyping the Cena-Rock tag team this Sunday as “Never Before, Never Again” – but if Cena’s comments today were accurate, they might have to change it to, “Once Before, Never Again.”

Didn’t he say in an interview that he has a ring at home and that he works out in there every now and then.

  • venom

Yea, this is to get rid of ring rust.

  • El Dandy

@adam. of and have are two different words

  • Moe

    What cleverness from Middleton!

  • adam

@bill. If he would of come back and had ring rust everyone would of been dissapointed and said it was a waste and he shoulda staid away. This way he can work out the kinks before the ppv and look great or better there.

  • damkat

it is more than likely a warm up for him so he does not have “ring rust” for the SS match….

  • Bill

What the hell is wrong with the WWE!?! Have THE ROCK wrestle for the 1st time in 7 years in a freakin’ DARK match?!? What next? Y2J returning at a house show before returning on WWE TV?

  • DuffManLovesHimSomeWrestling

They won’t have to change anything. It is only a dark match… Those events are meaningless to the televised product, It isn’t like they announce what happens.
