ROH signs former WWE superstar

With the start of All Elite Wrestling, there seems to be a rush among promotions to sign new talent. It seems that a former WWE superstar has signed with Ring of Honor. This is definitely a great signing as the Darewolf PJ Black is sure to be a solid addition to the promotion.

Black went under the name of Justin Gabriel during his time in WWE, and he was able to get over despite his size. He took to Twitter and officially announced his signing.

So I just officially signed with ROH! I start March 16th in Las Vegas. So any promoters running shows before that I could possibly make it!

On Wrestling Observer Online, Dave Meltzer noted that Black will be finishing out his indie dates before working full-time for ROH. It is also interesting to note that Black was able to leave Lucha Underground, even though the company is still holding others hostage.

“So his Lucha Underground Contract, I guess he got out of his Lucha Underground contract.”
