– The Northeast Wrestling promotion is touting that the “hottest free agent in wrestling” is coming in for an appearance and they will make the announcement during a Mickie James appearance they’re promoting today at the Newburgh Mall in Newburgh, New York. Word going around is that it will be Jeff Hardy coming in.

– Ring of Honor has filed a lawsuit against Ric Flair for Flair allegedly owing the company over $40,000 after ROH says he failed to live up to his contracted obligations to the company from working with them last year.

The lawsuit says that Flair was signed to make five appearances at ROH house shows for $10,000 an appearance. Flair failed to appear at a scheduled show in July of 2009 and has failed to return the $10,000 for that appearance. The suit also says that Flair only attended one ROH TV taping after agreeing to appear in an authority figure role on TV. Flair was paid $35,000 for the TV appearances and only made one appearance.
