Roman Reigns on the Vince McMahon-Kevin Owens segment

Before beating John Cena at the No Mercy PPV, Roman Reigns spoke with CBS Sports’ In This Corner podcast. Below are some of the highlights from his interview:

Talking about the recent segment between Vince McMahon and Kevin Owens where Vince got busted open, Reigns said that it’s one of the ‘leading by example’ situations:

“I think it’s one of those situations where it’s a leading by example. When you see the CEO, your boss, out there getting shoot headbutted and thrown around at his age, it comes back to that word ‘passion’ that we talked about. You don’t have to. Let’s be honest, does he really have to be out there doing that stuff? There is no sports entertainment in there. Do you know what I mean? There was nothing pulled. There’s no way to disguise that.”

Speaking about his feud with AJ Styles, Roman said that it was special and claimed that he can wrestle the current United States Champion for the rest of his life:

“I think both AJ and I know what we had going on and we can both say that it was special. And I’ll wrestle AJ for the rest of my life. I’ll go out on a limb and say that I would have no problems being in that ring with him if you’re like, ‘hey, that’s the only person you’re going to wrestle,’ I’d be like, ‘well, thank you! That’s easy.'”

Apart from this Roman Reigns also talked about how his in-ring chemistry with Styles is great and more.
