Ronda Rousey on facing Charlotte Flair on short notice

For months it was rumored that WWE is planning a match between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey which could possibly main event the upcoming WrestleMania 35 event.

However, things escalated quickly in the last few days and Becky Lynch’s injury caused WWE to move this match and have Charlotte face Ronda at Survivor Series instead.

During a recent Q&A session on her website, the Raw Women’s Champion was asked about facing the SmackDown star on such a short notice and she said that her preference would have been to have more experience in the ring before facing her:

“If it was my absolute preference, I would choose to have more experience and be more developed in the ring before I would have the opportunity to share it with someone like Charlotte Flair. But, opportunities come when they come. I’m ready to seize it. I’ve succeeded at crazier things before.”

Apart from this, Ronda Rousey also talked about getting her first chair shot during the latest episode of Raw, claiming that it was a really cool experience.

She would prefer to have more experience and be more developed in the ring before stepping in the ring with Charlotte. So is she saying that Charlotte is better than everyone else she has wrestled?
Kind of a slap in the face to everyone else.

Of course you could also read it as she knows someone like Becky could carry her in the ring but Charlotte can’t, but I certainly think she is trying to put Charlotte on a pedestal here as being the best, when she blatantly isn’t.
Charlotte can wrestle, but she still has a habit of messing things up (not seriously) and still gives away spots before they happen all the time.
