- For what it’s worth, Hulk Hogan is rumored to have agreed to work with WWE again for a short-term run with the company according to a report by Examiner.com.

Their report mentions that although Hogan has not signed a legends deal, he has verbally agreed to work a match and there is even talk of him being a surprise entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble. Examiner wrote the following about Hogan’s return to the company:

“We knew this would happen at some point. It’s my understanding that there isn’t a contract in place, but there’s a verbal agreement that will move forward. It’s just a good fit for everybody involved, especially with the milestone WrestleMania 30 coming up. Hogan needed to finish up his stuff with TNA and just come home.”

As of this writing, we can’t officially confirm any of the claims in their report, so take it with a grain of salt.

Who said it was a great move?
No one I know is actually saying this is good. only the reports themselves.
I dont want to see a 30-minute match v Cena. Or anyone for that matter with Hogan.
I might be okay with him being some type of GM or something, but as an actual wrestling contender… no.

Yeah almost forgot about that one -__-

Maybe Hogan vs Cena will top that horrible match of Hogan vs Rock.

  • Jorge Ruvalcaba

Hogan should just get a final, for real this time not gonna another FINAL RETIREMENT match

  • ddfindl

Oh God… Cena keeps the title ’til Mania and Hogan challenges… I never thought I’d see a worse match than Hogan/Warrior and Rock/Cena and now we get this, fml.

Funny how people couldnt wait for washed up hogan to leave tna because he was killing tna, but its a great move for wwe to bring him back.

Legends battle royal at WM with Hogan as a HUGE surprise.

  • Solid

Hopefully they’ll schedule it next to a divas match so I can take an extended nap during WM :P

  • D2K

Safe match for both. It’s a match that both Cena and Hogan can mutually benefit from. Not to mention a huge gate at the Superdome and huge PPV buyrates. Just having Hogan/Cena and Brock/Taker is more than enough. If they can find a way to sneak Austin/Punk in there, Wrestlemania XXX would be gold.

It is a gamble because there really isn’t anything Hogan can do anymore in the ring but random spots. Ideally you’d want someone in there that can carry the match. Cena certainly doesn’t exude that vibe, but I can’t think of anyone currently on the WWE roster that can carry the match themselves where wrestling Hogan would make any sense. Maybe CM Punk I guess but he’d really eat Hogan alive on the mic so that’s really not a good idea. Cena’s corny promos would do better to put Hogan over. But brother, (no pun intended there) the fans might left Cena have it as bad as the Rock got it at WMX8. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
