Rumor on the Location for WrestleMania 30, Talks with Major Cities

– The latest rumor on the location for WWE’s WrestleMania 30 pay-per-view in 2014 is the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana – the home of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints.

The massive Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas and the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City were previously rumored and they still could be involved in the negotiations but aren’t likely choices. New reports state that Los Angeles also has a bid in to host WrestleMania 30 but the feeling is that WWE will continue to keep just SummerSlam in Los Angeles.

It’s not known which city WWE is leaning toward but talks are ongoing with officials from several major cities.

MSG is an ok move but logistically makes no sense. Cowboys stadium is a better move but San Fran would be the ultimate move for WWE

  • Soulshroude

Fuck the rest… put NOLA back on the damned MAP! WHO DAT!!

  • Apacaveli

Come On Have Wrestlemania In ST.LOUIS Its Never Been Done Before Make It Happen WWE…..

  • Jon

But is Summerslam in LA a tradition now. Vince never said WM at MSG every 10 years. I don’t think it going to happen.

  • robert

Hell no, stay in MSG for 30, its tradition

  • Jon

Chicago is too city though, traffic is always pack and plus any WWE event held there is usually at the Allstate Arena. Even WM 22was held there. It been proven that Vince what a WM in Cowboy Stadium but couldn’t do it this year because of the NCAA tourment. Even i would see it in Chicago or even Indy WM30 is most likely in Dallas.

If they would have WM30 in Chicago, I think the United Center would be a great choice. It holds about 30,000+ seating and with more seats added to the floor, it can make things pretty interesting

  • scooter

I understand that the gardens not the biggest in comparison to others in this day and age but I think that would just add to the nostalgia!

  • Bill

I’d love to see a WM in Chicago, but Soldier Field(biggest arena in Chicago) has no roof, & it’d be pretty cold in March/April. Imagine CM Punk coming out to a pop of 70,000…

  • Jon

Vince will go where the profit is, which would be Cowboys stadium. It wouldn’t make sence to held WM in the NY/NJ area for two years. Cowboys Stadium if sold out would be a record breaker. MSG is a good arena but I think what the record crowd.

theyll come to Nor Cal after the 9ers new stadium is up in 2014

  • Devil_Rising

    Wrestlemania that is.

  • Devil_Rising

So…..for the first time ever, the next 10 ten anniversary Raw isn’t going to be at MSG? Great. So much for tradition.

  • Dwayne

They should do it in Egypt, and instead of climbing and fighting on top of a hell in a cell, they would climb and fight on top of the great Sphinx of Giza. That would be an epic scene.

Chicago is the Place to be for WrestleMania 30.

  • Wrestlemania 30 has to come back to msg and its a tradition for every 10 years.

  • Märzen

Wm 30 in South America or Europe.. Boom!

  • Shawn

Come back to Arizona. That was one of the best Wrestlemanias. The stadium is great. The weather will be ridiculously nice. Glendale WANTS you back. Makes far too much sense.

  • hornswoggler from the chocolate factory

bring it to canada again….Rogers center in Toronto!!!!!!!!!

  • JohnCena33

Don’t care where it is or how much it will cost, I want to go to WM30.

  • come to louisville at the kfc yum center a man can dream though

  • Lord KGM

Los Angeles is where to go, better yet San Francisco! Californias population alone stands taller than any other state (meaning potentially more fans than any other state) and our border brothers (Mexico) has been a market that the WWE has been interested in for years. Its a no brainer that the event should take place in California. Dallas would be my next choice if they chose to go in a different direction. With Mardi Gras and all the events that go on in Louisiana, I think hosting Wrestlemania there could possibly be a bust like the Atlanta event. My first choice San Francisco, great stadium and fans. Second, Los Angeles because of revenue from the event plus its SHOWTIME in L.A. EVERYDAY! Third, Dallas because of the capacity of the arena and revenue as well. Peace Lord KGM

Superdome is a great choice. It’s time to spread the love. NY and LA always hosts Wrestlemania and Summer slam

  • Jon

My bet is still Cowboys Stadium. By the size and revenue it can produce it could be a no brainer. The superdome is alright but it a old stadium and MSG wouldn’t make since WM29 is inNJ. I wish they could look in Indy for WM because Lucas Oil is a great stadium to be.
