What started as a tweet from Rusev have since become a full-fledged controversy and there are lots of rumors and unconfirmed reports floating around on the Bulgarian Brute’s status with WWE.
One such rumor was that Rusev has announced himself to be part of Bullet Club’s ALL In event in September and even an alleged screenshot of him tweeting the same is being shared on social media:
Though we can confirm that these screenshots are fake and so far the former US Champion has not been released from WWE and as we noted before he is still scheduled to wrestle in the Greatest Royal Rumble.
For those who don’t know, it was announced last week that Rusev will be facing The Undertaker in a Casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event later this month.
However, a tweet from the Bulgarian Brute and then a TMZ interview seemingly upset the Officials. Since then Rusev has been replaced by Chris Jericho and there have been several rumors of him possibly leaving the company.
