It has been rumored that indie wrestler and former Mae Young Classic Competitor Tessa Blanchard has signed a deal with WWE but it appears that these rumors are false.
The indie star noted on Twitter recently that she is now taking bookings for 2018, meaning that not only she has not signed with the company but she is also not expecting to be signed anytime soon:

Tessa made her in-ring debut for WWE back in April last year where she lost in a match against the current Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss in NXT.
This wasn’t the only appearance of her in NXT and she worked for WWE’s development territory on a couple of more occasions, but they both were one-off deals.
She returned to WWE as a participant of the Mae Young Classic Tournament back in July this year but was eliminated in the first round after being defeated by Kairi Sane.
