While he made his Main Roster debut only a few months ago, former NXT Champion Samoa Joe has already found a special spot for himself on the Raw roster.
You can understand how solid his positioning in current WWE programming is, by the fact that Paul Heyman is allegedly pushing for Brock Lesnar to drop the Universal title to Joe at SummerSlam.
Due to his solid spot, it looks inevitable that he will be part of an important feud when the time comes for Wrestlemania and it is almost definite that he’ll have a match at the Show of Shows.
During a recent interview with a media outlet in France, Joe was asked who he would like to face at the Biggest Wrestling Event Of The Year. Replying to the question he said that when it comes to WrestleMania you take whatever opportunity is put in front of you:
“When it comes to WrestleMania, obviously you’ll take whatever opportunity is put in front of you, I’d love to see something like Brock [Lesnar] or Roman [Reigns], Seth [Rollins] or Dean [Ambrose]. Maybe Finn Balor or AJ Styles or John Cena. I mean, the list is really endless. You put any of those guys in front of me and I’ll be more than ready to go.”
Samoa Joe is currently scheduled to challenge Brock Lesnar for his Universal Championship along with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman in a Fatal Four Way match at SummerSlam.
