Samoa Joe on missing WrestleMania again

The Samoan Submission Machine has been a dominant force since joining the WWE. His career in NXT was very impressive, winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Finn Balor and also capturing the NXT Championship twice.

Since his debut on the main roster, Joe has been sitting around the top of the card, battling the likes of Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. However, Joe has yet to get to the Grandest Stage of Them All, missing this year’s WrestleMania due to an injury he sustained back in January.

Samoa Joe was interviewed by Busted Open a few days before WrestleMania, with the Destroyer discussing his charitable work with Son of a Saint along with having to miss WrestleMania once again.

In the interview, Joe talked about having to miss the Showcase of Immortals once again:

I think anybody is always upset at that proposition. Sunday is a big day for us and for our industry, and anytime the Super Bowl being played you wanna be in the game. So sitting on the bench, especially when you are ready to run…it is a tough go, but I deal with it the best I can.

Samoa Joe also talked about Mark Henry, who sat beside him during the interview, and what he plans to do when he gets back into the ring.
