On this week’s Smackdown Live, R-Truth held yet another US Open Challenge. However, last time it was a triple threat match. This time, it became a fatal four-way match as he ended up with three challengers.
Samoa Joe was the first to come out, followed by Andrade and Rey Mysterio. R-Truth certainly did not expect this.
It was a great match with many memorable spots that involved everyone, including Zelina Vega and Carmella. However, Joe took advantage of the situation and laid out Andrade for the pin. So, Samoa Joe is now the United States Champion.
This marks his first single’ title reign since coming to the main roster.
