Sasha Banks has nothing nice to say about Ronda Rousey’s debut

As seen this past Sunday night, Ronda Rousey made her official WWE debut during the ending segment of the Royal Rumble PPV, following the Inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble.

However, her arrival received a mixed reaction from fans as many believed it overshadowed the historic victory of Asuka in the first ever Women’s Rumble.

During her recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Sasha Banks was asked about Rousey’s appearance on the PPV and the Boss claimed that she has nothing nice to say about it:

“My feelings…and sorry to do it to you guys. You know, I have nothing nice to say so I can’t say anything at all, I have nothing to say about it.”

What do you think about Ronda Rousey making her debut at the Royal Rumble PPV? let us know your thoughts in the comment section.

I 100% agree, I just think the women’s division should see her as competition, not a threat. But if you’re going to spend the money and time on someone as main stream as RR, you shouldn’t have her debit on Smackdown, you’d make it to be more impactful.

I do agree on the booking and if RR skills aren’t good, then booking won’t really matter anyways, but seeing the current product, who knows how long she’s even going to last. Especially with not going to NXT or an Indy promotion first.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue with her, but you can certainly see why the women are pissed off. It is not Rousey though that is the issue, it is WWE and their horrible booking.

She will potentially bring in a lot of extra viewers, at least initially, and that is what WWE will always need, but if the booking is as bad as it has been, they won’t stay around.

They really should have given Asuka and the rest of the women their time to shine, and introduced Rousey later.

I agree, but I think people should give her a chance first. Let’s see what see brings to the ring before we judge her. She is a tremendous athlete and a beautiful person and I really don’t think she’s going to take this sport lightly. And I have tons of respect for her for the fact that she’s the one who said it had to be full time. She’s also going to bring a lot more attention for the women’s division, which in my opinion, should make the division work harder and want more of a spotlight on them. I do agree that her “debut” was a bit of a spot light stealer, but how else would you want someone like her to make an impactful debut. She’s doing full time and yet Brock is 4 times a year and never even touches a mic and 9/10 has bad matches lol. And personally, I am not a fan of Banks, she seems like not so much of a good person outside the ring and Sounds a bit jealous since she can’t hold on to the title for longer than a month lol.

I fully get why everyone is pissed off. You spend ages hyping the womens evolution and how big a deal this 1st Rumble was, then you go and essentially say “Yeah this was a great landmark, but hey look, here is something even bigger.”

Also, from the womens point of view they now know they will be overshadowed by Rousey as she will get a lot more media attention than anything they achieve.
