Over the past few days, it’s been rumored that Sasha Banks is not happy with her spot in the WWE at the moment. After losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to the IIconics at WrestleMania, reports spread that the Boss stepped away before Monday Night Raw, leaving Bayley to fend for herself against Alexa Bliss.
Banks also missed an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show, revealing that she had to pull out due to “personal reasons” before ending the tweet with the hashtag “#IfYouOnlyKnew,” which had also been used by Beth Phoenix. Apparently, Banks was upset after she and Bayley were blindsided with the news that they’d be losing the titles to the IIconics, believing that they’d have a lengthy run with the titles in order to help legitimize them.
Now it’s being reported via the Wrestling Observer that Banks is looking to leave the company. The Boss was given a few weeks to think things over before making a decision. This report has also been confirmed by Fightful.com. However, sources in the company don’t believe she’ll be granted her release.
