Sean Waltman

According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, former WWE Superstar Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman was arrested in Los Angeles over the weekend on Saturday, April 29th around 12:45am. He was taken into custody early morning by the Los Angeles Airport Police Department and charged with a felony.

No confirmation as to what exactly that felony was but his bail was set $35,000. Per the LA Sheriff’s department, Waltman was released on Sunday evening at 6:23pm local time. Waltman took to Twitter to comment on the whole ordeal shortly after his release and stressed that he did not relapse:

Earlier this week Waltman missed an IPW indie event appearance in the UK, and the promotion took to Facebook to alert the public X-Pac had never taken his flight over to the UK. Waltman’s podcast co-host took to Twitter to note that the former WWE star was having problems this weekend but is okay.

We now know what those problems were. We’ll keep you updated…

But it’s ok no relapse he will explain later. This guy is a trainwreck looking to make others the same, by all accounts.Time for him to go away and get his life together.

A spokesman for Los Angeles Airport Police said the 44-year-old had been charged with possession with intent to sell after the arrest on Saturday shortly before midnight.

He said: “A subsequent investigation revealed that he had methamphetamines, marijuana and had a warrant for his arrest for a DUI (driving under the influence).”

A search of Waltman’s backpack unearthed three cannabis chocolate bars, 38 methamphetamine capsules and 56 capsules of the active ingredient in cannabis, THC, according to a record of his arrest.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance in relation to the methamphetamine, also known as crystal meth, but not the cannabis as it is not a controlled substance in the state, the spokesman added
    .
Officers argue he was planning on selling the drugs as he was possessing a quantity too vast to personally consume before he was due to fly back to LA on Monday.

TMZ is saying he had a bunch of meth on him, most likely for distribution, when he was bagged at LAX.
