Seth Rollins says Dean Ambrose could return sooner than expected

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

When Dean Ambrose first got injured it was reported that he would be out of action for about 9 months and would return around September this year.

However, in a recent interview, Seth Rollins talked about Ambrose’s injury and said that he could be back in late spring which would be way ahead of his schedule:

I don’t know the whereabouts or the details of his injury but he had some pretty extensive triceps surgery earlier this year. He’s definitely still on the mend and rehabbing but he’ll be back and better than ever, you wait. Summertime, maybe late spring, somewhere in there I think, whenever wily guy gets back to normal.”

Apart from this Rollins also talked about a possible Shield reunion when Dean returns and said that it’s likely that they’ll continue being part of their individual storylines instead of reuniting.

While Seth could simply be unaware of Ambrose’s condition and him claiming that the Lunatic Fringe will be back sooner could be a mistake, considering he is a good friend withhis Shield-brother and may have talked to him about it, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Dean Ambrose actually returns sooner than expected.

Hopefully Dean Ambrose does the much needed heel turn. He would get back to the World title picture fast because he always to me had that heel look.

That said, Ambrose will be back to cost Rollins his match at Backlash.
